Cancer cell biologist, Research Associate @Clare Waterman lab, Blebs are life or death!!! LOVE to torture..Oops confine cells.. All about cell migration π views are my own, not of employer

Microscopy is beautiful on its own..... why does it need to be AI generated π also who else is bugged by conference pamphlets/webpages that have AI gen images of cell. Like that's the place to showcase someone's beautiful work.
Everyday I wake up and feel like I am alive in a wrong era...

Great work!!
Wooo this is cool! Confined migration in vivo whats not to like!
Fingers π€

Fresh preprint from St Johnston lab in collaboration with Paluch lab. "Fast, 3D SMLM imaging modality, Intrinsic3D, which combines the speed and optical sectioning of oblique plane microscopy (OPM) with the nanometre resolution of SMLM using DNAPAINT". Amazing imaging, here is one of my favourite:
Also Dubai airport can be a great place to be stuck for long hours π loads to eat there.
Delhi Airport now has Carnatic cafΓ© now....so good!!
Cell migration is cool no doubt about it.... but I can't unsee how much we can learn about these fundamental principles from different organisms, also how much cancer has hijacked these mechanisms and plasticity..
Thank you π
Thank you !!! I am glad you enjoyed the blebs.... :)
π thank you for the support. I used to participate in inter school debate competitions and I always thought what a torture it must be being on other side listening to me.
If you can tolerate my voice π π€£ you can enjoy my short presentation on focal plane about cellular plasticity in cancer and role of blebbing in it!

While weβve heard that watching cell blebs (like watching larva lamps) can be relaxing, we think that @ankita13jha.bsky.socialβs talk from our #CellMigration webinar will leave you feeling excited about #science & running to your #microscope!

So cool!
