The Feds will subsidize a $100 billion pipeline after paying $34bil for the last one.
But the PM signs on with Trump to fight subsidized EV technology.
This has nothing to do with jobs. It is about blocking the expansion of cheap/accessible alternatives.

Our emissions progress is already being reversed and these cuts to climate policy had NOTHING to do with protecting Canada from a more dangerous world, from our recent newsletter: secure.sierraclub.ca/en/civicrm/m...

#CDNpoli #HeatPumps #ClimateChange #ClimatePolicy

Taking long overdue action on heat pumps, doesn’t make up for ANYWHERE NEAR the climate harm of financing gas plants for U.S. data centres nor cutting climate regulations that wipe out our progress on emissions.
Thank public pressure for heat pumps AND PUT MORE PRESSURE ON.

Gave a talk about @sierraclubcanada.bsky.social at my alma mater, Marianopolis College. One Shanghainese student was so happy to see another Shanghainese person that we chatted in Shanghainese after the talk.

She told me, “It’s so cool to have such an accomplished and inspiring person here!”
