A pleasure to discuss parliamentary reform with Jacob Oboth-Oboth, Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda. Strong parliaments depend on transparency and accountability, and it was valuable to share perspectives on supporting democratic processes and effective governance.

In the House of Commons this week, we marked the 25th anniversary of the 11 September 2001 attacks with prayer and reflection. We remembered those who lost their lives, those who still mourn, and all who responded with courage. My thoughts remain with all affected.
