Brexit: Femi vs Fabricant As MPs debate whether the UK should Rejoin the EU, I exposed how evil politicians like Michael Fabricant really are.
Just been watching the Westminster Hall parliamentary debate on the petition signed by over 100,000 in favour of rejoining the EU. Only 2 of the 23 MPs who have spoken so far have opposed such a course of action. The tide is turning…
British Conservatives: "Russia has disgracefully interfered in politics in France, Germany, Sweden, Hungary, Moldova, Romania and invaded Ukraine. They even meddled in the US elections." Also British Conservatives: "What? Russia! Interfere in Brexit? Ridiculous! Just a tired old conspiracy theory."
Andy Burnham, "If we are serious about promoting growth, controlling immigration, upholding our values and security, it is a conversation we must have" "Sticking with the status quo is not good enough for Britain"
Andy Burnham outlines how the upcoming UK-EU summit will increase UK trade by at least £10 billion a year by 2040 My view: While this is a welcome first step we are significantly strides away from a major boost to our economy. Until we rejoin the EU, we will have marginal improvements to our trade.
2026: Labour MP Jonathan Hinder says 'nobody thinks that was going to happen,' that Brexit would mean, instead of migrants from the EU, we'd get migrants from outside the EU 2016: Labour's Heidi Alexander explained exactly that; one of many politicians and commentators to do so
Fraser Nelson, "There's no doubt about it, there's a huge number of Brits who want back in the EU" My view: A YouGov megapoll of nearly 12,000 people found full EU membership was the most popular UK–EU policy option in 628 of 632 constituencies.
Burnham is making the right bold moves, which Starmer sadly lacked or communicated poorly. Much closer ties to the EU are a ‘no-brainer ’. A concise, honest statement at the Dispatch Box is also needed, clearly explaining to the people of the UK the real damage Brexit has caused to their lives.

Finally!
Russia interfered in the #Brexit vote!
Wasn’t it obvious… from space?
NEW: Prime Minister Andy Burnham finally breaks a decade of UK govt silence…& reveals there was ‘clear’ Russian interference in the Brexit vote. 1/
It comes after years of cover-ups & denials not least from Boris Johnson who was in charge of MI6 as foreign minister at the time & whose first act as PM was to ennoble the Baron of Siberia. But it also went beyond Johnson & Starmer continued it too. We now finally need some sunlight. 2/
Britain's future relationship with Europe is being debated in Parliament on 12th October. I've just asked my MP to attend. Will you ask yours? www.europeanmovement.co.uk/contact-mp-a...
The experts Brexiters despised were right in 2016, and they’re right now.
“The UK could rejoin the EU within a single Parliament, and complete negotiations in less time than it took for the UK to agree its trade deal with India, experts have established.”

A new poll shows that nearly three‑quarters of Labour voters want Andy Burnham to promise EU re‑membership in the next manifesto, while a European Movement plan outlines a roadmap for the UK to re‑join the EU by 2036, backed by cross‑party figures.

Go big or go home: Pulling back from Europe to keep Reform UK out is the SUREST way to let Farage in, says @pimlicat.bsky.social.

When I say the politics will become increasingly obvious... I mean look at this. If you want to unite the left/centre and split the Tories, without a big spending committment there's no better option.
On the substack this week.... I looked at the route back into the EU. It's going to become increasingly obvious that the politics works for a manifesto pledge. What are the barriers? What would a negotiation look like? How might another referendum play out? samf.substack.com/p/the-route-...
The Tories want you to trust them on the economy. But they can't even get the numbers right on a spreadsheet.
