Our podcast is dedicated to highlighting the human side of science. Behind every discovery, there is a story & the people who made it happen. Thank you to the team at @innovativeresearch.bsky.social for helping us tell these stories by supporting our show, including a new episode w/ Dr Meenal Datta.

In part 1 of our interview, we covered what neuroplasticity is, lessons from animal models about brain reorganization post-stroke, the timeline of neuroplasticity, effective "ingredients" for motor recovery, & how activating multimodal pathways during rehab may improve outcomes.

What have we learned from research on neuroplasticity & how the nervous system repairs & remodels after a #stroke or other injury?

This was a fun podcast episode w/ my amazing co-host Dr. Jyutika Mehta & our wonderful guests Drs. John Krakauer & Randy Nudo.
