Genre spotlight: action/adventure

Action/Adventure: is defined by having a strong element of danger in the story. Adventure stories are fast-paced and full of action. Adventure books feature fast-paced and action-packet plots, and a hero that has to complete an unexpected quest or journey in a short period of time. Oftentimes the main character is tasked with saving another person or fighting something evil and scary, and chance plays a big part in what happens throughout the story. Adventure stories usually take place somewhere intriguing with exciting settings that draw in the reader. The journey of the hero has an exhilarating climax, sacrifice, dangerous scenarios, and a protagonist and antagonist. Sometimes adventure stories have realistic characters, settings, and plots, and sometimes they can be more of a fantasy adventure.

Writers have been invited!

Artist Application Information coming next week!

@radioapplelibrary.bsky.social Sep 18, 2026, 3:43 AM

It will not be. Since this is a fan work, we cannot pay contributors. Instead, all money raised will be giving to a non-profit charity that will be announced soon.

@radioapplelibrary.bsky.social Sep 18, 2026, 1:02 AM

All that information will be coming through socials throughout the week. So keep watch. It is an application based selection process, so we can not promise spots for every artist that applies

@radioapplelibrary.bsky.social Sep 17, 2026, 10:30 PM

What will the artists be doing?

MAKING BOOK COVERS! But it seems we need more artists!

Keep watch for more info!

Carrd: ralzine.carrd.co

What will artists do?

Artist have various roles they can participate in:

RAL Artists automatically got in and enrolled as a Page Artist for a writer where they will be matched with an author.
one has already won the role of cover artist (announcement soon!)
some got the role of Graphic Novelist; where they will make a comic for a genre.

HOWEVER! We need more! So we will be looking for:
Page Artist: will make a “book cover” for the writer’s piece.
Graphic Novelist: make a comic based on a genre.
Digital Merch: digital prints, emotes, wallpapers, etc…
Spread Artists: drawing filler pages like how the RadiosApple Library looks, wall of Sinners, and Employee of the month (it’s always Niffty)

What do you mean by genres?

Read the graphic to learn how this zine is themed and organized!

Keep watch for more info!

Carrd: ralzine.carrd.co

#radioapple #appleradio #zine #alastor #lucifer #RALZine

What do you mean by genres?

The Library is organized by story genres:
Action/Adventure
Fantasy
Historical Fiction
Horror
Mystery/Thriller
Realistic Fiction
Romance
Sci-Fi/Dystopia

Contributors will write a story based on their assigned genre.

Stories can be RadioApple, AppleRadio, Switch/Verse, or Not-Sexually Explicit within written stories.

All art must remain non-dynamic specific and not-sexualliy explicit.

This is because the zine will NOT be split by dynamics. All stories will have tags for easy skipping

So what is the #RALZine?

Read below to learn about it!

Most importantly, this zine will be a DIGITAL ONLY zine that customers will donate to one of our endorsed charitable funds to access.

Keep watch for more info!

Carrd: ralzine.carrd.co

#radioapple #appleradio #zine #alastor #lucifer

A zine dedicated to the writers of the RadioApple library server!

the zine will be digital only after customers show proof of donating to one of our many charitable endorsements!

the purpose is to showcase the talent and skills of the writers from within the server and to pair them with an artist who can make their words come to life!

we will also include artists as graphic novelists to showcase their ability to draw and tell stories!
All stories are sorted into genres, just like real modern libraries have their fiction organized.

lets have fun but also do good — together!
