πŸ’‘CSS Tip!

Creating CSS Shapes is one of my favorite tasks, and now I can do something even better: Random CSS Shapes!

Let's start with Blobs.

In case you missed it, I published a tool called Gradient Layers, which is simply a way to visualize multiple background images in CSS. Works well for mask-image, too.

Take a look: lab.ishadeed.com/tools/gradie...

On chrome, by simply launching the website you shared, everything freeze. I can do nothing at all expect either waiting (I did and nothing happened) or close the page and I also have to wait a few seconds to have it closed and navigate. I should have enough GPU

Not really, instant freeze on Chrome and slow/laggy on Firefox πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Transferring sibling-count() to a parent element. @css-only.dev turns sibling-count() of an extra child into a variable on the parent using scroll-driven animations, a CSS-only stand-in for the proposed children-count(). #css #scroll

πŸ“ New CSS Article!

With Scroll-Driven Animations, you can transfer a value from one element to another anywhere on the page. I am using it to implement children-count().

Strange? Confusing? What the heck am I talking about?!

The tooltip is positioned (position: fixed) so I am pretty sure the anchor is not that's why it works.

You have probably installed more that the reader. For me it's called "Adobe Reader"

We generally need buttons to be "inline" with something that's why I used inline-grid but you aren't obliged to. You can keep only "grid" and add width: fit-content (or align the container to the center/left/right)
