@yochaigal.bsky.socialWhat's interesting about this author is that his other popular novel (The Black Tongue Thief) is SO different, very funny and almost slapstick. I like when authors can write in such different styles.

I'll let you all know how it goes!
@yochaigal.bsky.social8 years! The main reason I want to replace it is because it slightly crumples letter-sized paper (which I protect with a binder).
@yochaigal.bsky.socialI looked into it. $80 to repair! I could replace it entirely for $35 with the original:

@margaret.bsky.socialReposted by @yochaigal.bsky.socialI'm super excited to announce the fanciest zine of mine ever, The Folktales of Lowland Cekon. It's gorgeously illustrated by two dear friends, printed by a worker-owned printer. And it's $6. Pre-order is up now.
@yochaigal.bsky.socialRules Summaries have been posted to Itch/DTRPG under the Pregens (attached to each Background) but you can grab them from here as well:
@yochaigal.bsky.socialThey will be published by Cairn Press soon. I'll put them in all the usual places.
@yochaigal.bsky.socialSome new rules summaries for Cairn 2e courtesy of @maximlowe.com and me! I'll make them public shortly.
@yochaigal.bsky.socialToday on Between Two Cairns, @bradkerr.net and I review The Eye of the Aeons by James Barker, talk about what we've been playing, and answer a mootsack question about the limitations of gold for xp.
@yochaigal.bsky.socialHey, feel free to DM me about this if you want gory details. I'd love to talk shop! I'm still just getting started.
