In Mad Max 2 (1981), the object-repossession chase shifts its aim from mere pursuit to capturing a moving prize. Humungus’s raiders swarm the tanker not to destroy it, but to disable Max, board the rig, and seize control of the fuel haul.

Captured from within the open second-story pavilion of Rurikō-in in Yase, Kyoto, Japan, this photograph by Patrick Vierthaler presents a serene study in architectural geometry, shadow, and nature.

The composition is framed by dark, polished wooden pillars, balustrades, and overhanging timber eaves. To the right, a low, mirror-like black lacquer table sits upon woven tatami flooring, its immaculate surface reflecting the fiery scarlet and amber maple leaves (momiji) beyond the open veranda (engawa). On the left, a polished dark wooden hallway stretches toward the balustrade, echoing the vibrant autumn foliage outside in its subtle, glossy floor reflections. Through the rectangular openings formed by the posts and lintels, the view opens into a dense, forest-like canopy of maple branches, their dark, gnarled limbs tracing delicate lines across fields of crimson, gold, and lingering green leaves. The image awakens a tranquil, sensory atmosphere: the cool, smooth texture of hand-lacquered wood beneath bare feet, the soft, crisp scent of autumn mountain air mingling with tatami straw and damp cedar, the gentle rustle of falling maple leaves drifting down toward the moss garden below, and the profound, airless stillness of a secluded temple sanctuary nestled at the foot of Mount Hiei.

Just need her and this guy in the same hospital. Her doing days & him nights and we are all safe. Plus she worked for White Wings and he was employed by Black Wings (Shared universe 🤔)

Feeling the same when looking at my "Continue Watching" and "To Watch" lists. Just don't want to risk viewing becoming a task to complete rather than for enjoyment so will make sure I get the right balance.
