The house came into the possession of the Department of Nomological Impossibility, who are doing experiments on it to determine the nature of the energy that lives there.

Having only interior decoration left, she fixated on one hole in the wall, dedicating all her time to it and feeding on the mildew that grew there. In the end, she got trapped in it, only to find another home decorator walking through in her dying breath.

The more time she spent in it, the more she lost her mind. She eventually imprisoned her husband inside a room in the labyrinth, which she coined the "hubby cubby". Eventually, as she was tearing up the carpet in the labyrinth, she got lost. Her book at this point was insane ramblings.

In the late 1980s, a home decorator by the name of Debby Sue moved into an unassuming home, hoping to add some pizazz and style for her book about interior decoration. She found the labyrinth, and in her hubris, decided to decorate it.
