And lastly for now, my first animation with camera movements. I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about it, but it's good practice. I'm rendering another right now, and will hopefully post later on, assuming it doesn't melt my poor steam deck
Another animation, this time with water movement and still no audio
My first animation, obviously just my previous render but animated. Used wind physics to blow some curtains. I love the way the light swims. No audio though
Last of the still renders I'll be posting for now, as this was the most recent I've finished, featuring deep shadows and surreal lighting
This render was inspired by the album I Have Heard Him Say These Things by Bull of Heaven, featuring some play with light and reflections and compositors
Gonna finish posting my renders, these two were meant to kinda explore some texturing work as well as compositors, one wide screen and one vertical
Last piece I'll upload for now. Inspired by the visuals in some music videos I enjoy as well as the poolrooms aesthetic, I couldn't decide if I liked the blue or the pink more. In the end I just rendered both, as well a blue one in vertical for a phone wallpaper
First render from after my blender install broke and I lost my backups. Playing here with perspective, light, and a familiar place feeling distorted
Another more industrial piece, looking up from beneath the ground. This was my first time experimenting with adding in some kind of exteriority with the skybox above, and of course more play with lighting and shadow
For this render I wanted to go back to some of the industrial style pieces I was doing earlier on. Concrete and metal and hoses and pipes
Celebrating spooky season in liminal space!
This month's essay is an #eerie exploration of iconic movies, fine art, and internet lore. We'll find the #liminal hiding in plain sight and examine the elements that make it so #creepy.
Continuing my upload dump with this piece, which I really wanted to like, but I just could not for the life of me figure out how to fix the artifacting near the lights. Even so, it's a study of light caustics and selective lighting
Last of the renders I'll post this morning. Between the light caustics and the soft grass and cool lighting, this is easily one of my favorite early renders
Another surreal piece from when I was newer to all this, playing a bit with textures that allow light to pass through
Another more personal piece of mine from a while back
