Continuing with this stellar novel. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Proper enjoying it. Very good for what I presume is Jo Martin's first. And sci-fi isn't an easy genre. #DoctorWho โค๏ธโค๏ธ

Doctor Who Circuit Breaker novel The Kaleidoscope starring the Fugitive Doctor and Martha Jones with the Silents. Also written by Jo Martin.

The Circuit Breaker sequence has probably been the best of these multi-media stories. This novel gives an interesting insight into the Fugitive Doctor, and indeed into how Jo Martin sees the character...

Doctor Who: Circuit Breaker: The Kaleidoscope by Jo Martin, hardback book with dust jacket, illustration shows Jo Martin as Fugitive Doctor, and Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones, standing on a Caribbean beach with Silent creatures in the surf behind them.

'Doctor Who: Fear Death by Water' (2025) was magnificent. I didn't know about the real-life history of Grace Darling but I will look her up further. 15 and co were well-written, as was the book. I love the ocean, primal forces, etc. Brilliant. Possibly my favourite 15 novel so far.

Amazing how Doctor Who reference work technology has developed. A 70s behind-the-scenes book (left) and one from 2026, the size of a brick!

The Making Of Doctor Who by Malcolm Hulke and Terrance Dicks from 1972 and The Troughton Years by David Brunt from now.

So I've written a book! It's out next month from @tenacrebooks.bsky.social and it's about the modern series of #DoctorWho, the show's impact on TV and the UK, and how the media industry and fan culture have changed since it returned in 2005.

Una McCormack has for me one of the most distinctive voices of all Doctor Who tie-in writers. Besides Rob Shearman, she's the only one where you could give me a blank book without a name on the cover, and I could say with some confidence "this is a McCormack, isn't it?" #DoctorWho
