It's Friday night, so what better time to start obsessively following the U.S. midterm elections? Our Discover page now has a Midterms Election Hub full of @graze.social feeds showing the national picture as well as some of the most interesting regional races.
Agreed. Everything on the dashboard links back to the posts it came from, and we’re working to bring in journalists to watch the races as they unfold. Open feeds plus human eyes are the trust layer!
Calling all newsrooms and journalists: join @graze.social ’s people-powered midterms project.
Sign up, volunteer for election night and keep watch as races unfold in every state. Here’s how 🧵
"Every federal and gubernatorial race, by name and by state, read from what people are actually saying" - all powered by the open social web.
Neither: it interleaves. A few slots per page alternate between your current ordering and the candidate, and engagement credits whichever side placed the post. Every reader sees both, so it’s a within-reader comparison, with a cap per reader so heavy users can’t swing it.
FYI: Our next meetup is 11/10 to give everyone dedicated time to vote on Election Day
... but if you miss thinking about the atmosphere, you can check out @graze.social 's Election Night project
Are you even on our level pal

Graze is somehow adding features faster than I can try them out.

Wow this is such a cool, sane, and social way to stay up to date with midterms!!
We've been hard at work behind the scenes the last few weeks to prepare for this - a 52-feed deep dive on the state of the election, run by *you*, the community that depends on this information. We've also partnered with some great folks in the ecosystem. Let's take a quick tour.
If you like democracy, this is big: @graze.social builds on the public nature of the atproto network to create (and help *anyone* create) curated feeds.
The midterms project shows the possibilities of democratic information space design built on atproto. See for yourself at midterms.graze.social.
This is an incredibly cool application of ATproto. I saw someone describe it as CivTech, and I think that's punk rock. 😎
Multiplayer feed creation 👌👌
I'm very excited to announce v2 of Sports is live, just in time for the end of the World Series! This is a major update, but the headlines are: • Support for the NFL, NCAA Football, Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, and UCL. • New UI with favorites, top stories, standings, and highlights!
Really cool stuff from @graze.social and my good buddy @devingaffney.com curating feeds of coverage and bsky discourse for elections in every state. This shit is cool,
The folks at @graze.social have just opened a new portal for tracking the discourse around the midterm elections through Nov 3rd.
Volunteers can sign-up to help moderate each of the local newsrooms, and they've created this Uncle Sam Hat item to give away as a thanks!
oh dang this rules
