Here’s Jimmy’s (aka Dillon Hess) December 14, 2025 text acknowledging that DRIFTERS was “clearly born from your interior landscape” and referring to “the script that you wrote.” Those are his words to me, recognizing where this story came from.

and from me: Thank you for making my day brighter. I would love to be your daddy.

f I could choose someone to call Dad, I honestly think I would have wished for someone like you. ❤️ I hope this doesn’t make you uncomfortable. I’m just a young guy expressing something that genuinely came from my heart.

I know I’m a stranger, and I’m not expecting anything from you. I just wanted to share this feeling because it’s completely sincere. You somehow give me a feeling of warmth and comfort that I associate with having a Dad.

There’s something about you that makes me think about the kind of Dad I’ve always wished I could have. Sometimes I genuinely imagine what it would feel like if you were my Dad — someone I could trust, talk to, laugh with, and feel safe around.

a message from someone in my chat requests this morning: Hi Patrick ❤️ I know this may seem like a very unusual message from someone you don’t know, but I wanted to be honest with you.
