@jef.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gyIt occurred to me, while waiting for one of my recent sandwiches, that these devices could easily be repurposed into high-capacity guillotine-equivalents.

@jef.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy@alice Have you ever seen Now You See Me? It's a magic/heist movie and it ends (no spoiler) with a wonderful scene of the love locks at Pont des Arts in Paris. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1670345/
@jef.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy@darthnull Back in 2001 I visited all the Bay Area Nike sites to get photos and GPS coords and make a map web page: https://acme.com/jef/nike/
That page is mostly still accurate.

@jef.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gyThis quote intrigues me: "Altogether there were 13 Nike sites in the Bay Area (with one only recently disclosed by the military in the East Bay)." My own Nike history page, from 2001, lists 13 sites: https://acme.com/jef/nike/
I wonder what they meant about the recently disclosed site?
