@transmissionsftd.bsky.social
Black metal, dungeon synth appreciation channel/page/person (Duncan. Hi) covering all forms of blackened artistry and expression. Will post personal stuff too, bcz I can't be bothered to have too many accounts.
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialAlso, this new Deafheaven EP is solid. Been enjoy it a lot today.
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialIt is, but it’s also the initials of Action Beat
Probably sounds exactly how you’d image just from the presentation of those two letters 😅
Good times!
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialAnd finally, a blackened doom, down-tuned, martial rhythm, distortion degenerated raw and crude Blaggard Records release, in the form of the debut demo from Sorceress.
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialSecond, the new album from Raathgard; the dark dungeon doom incarnation of revered Swedish fantasy dungeon synth artist Örnatorpet - Veneration of Withered Idols
For fans of Ghoëst, Old Forsaken Realm, Shattered Spirit, Tormentomb, Gravfrost, and, Star Mace
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialBusy day today, despite feeling incredibly ill.
Lets bump this weeks DS Sunday albums to make it better.
First up, the new album of boggy forest dungeon synth from Heidespreuk - Veluwe II
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialRevisiting a classic of personal nostalgia. One of the best bands I ever put on. And unsurprisingly, the only band I ever put on with 4 drummers.
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialthe Gudsforladt side probably, but it is a seamless, sustained and complete album. Hope you enjoy!
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialHere we go!
Honoured to present a new release from Gudsforladt - a split with Molocchio, titled The Sword and the Scepter
Sensational blackened atmospheric medieval metal
youtu.be/RnXOAhzaISo?...
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialgot an upload coming to the channel this afternoon you're going to want to stick around for 👀
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialseems @zackpolanski.bsky.social Facebook page is down, again? Same as the days before the Gorton & Denton election
You taking a break Zack, or are some shenanigans going down?
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialthere's a new gym opening in my town, and this is the vibe they're going for. 😬 membership is also £200 a month (that's $266 freedom credits for my USian friends), so it's a non-starter anyway. Compounded by whatever the fuck this is
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialA conspiracy written in blood between Bloedmaan and Crypts of Dusk, bringing you oldskool black metal where vampyre, necromancers and wizards reign free.
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialThat’s strange that their German is not great. I don’t know exactly where they’re from though, their associated projects are from around Europe so maybe they’re not actually German.
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialThat’s ok. Goatowarex isn’t an NS label. Kommodus is sound too.
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialAhh, piss. I’ll take it down. Thanks for the note. I admit I did not check all the lyrics. I did translate the titles though, and they seemed like winter/nature atmo stuff. I’ll get it gone
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialA few good things out this week
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialthat is what it feels like. the other album alongside this is also really good, but much more 'typical' Trha churning malestrom cosmic metal. The 'din...' one has a tangibly different quality to it
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialthis new Trhä album is something else. Wild how the ideas keep flowing from his, and this one has so many subtly intricate forms shifting around with such seemingly effortlessly psychedlic abandon.
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialwhat a reassuring pop-up in my own facebook page. uh oh
@transmissionsftd.bsky.socialthe WLVS film is finally out on blueray....but from Switzerland, with shipping makes it £50 - fifty - pounds
i am not sure i can go to that. hopefully it gets a UK distro
