What a day in Hoveton π
From brilliant local businesses to the people who make this community tick, there's so much to be proud of here.
Thank you, Hoveton, for making me feel so welcome.

π¨ We have a CONNECTIVITY CRISIS in North Norfolk π¨ Poor mobile signal & broadband are causing residents & businesses problems every single day. Tell me your experiences so I can take them directly to the Govt Minister on Wednesday π
It was a pleasure to visit Holt Youth Ptoject again yesterday, and hear from several young people about their lives, hopes & ambitions β€οΈ Every young person has something to offer. Talent is everywhere. Opportunity should be, too.
π A brighter future doesn't happen by accident. We build it together. What would you like to see for North Norfolk? π

Poll after poll shows the same thing: it's a two-horse race here in North Norfolk ππ If you want to stop Reform UK here, I'm the only candidate who can win and build a brighter future for this special part of the country.
This Wednesday, Hoveton takes centre stage π I'll be spending the day celebrating one of North Norfolk's brilliant communities - meeting businesses, talking to residents, & shining a light on everything that makes Hoveton special β¨οΈ Every village & town here has a story worth telling.
Our medieval churches are part of what makes North Norfolk special. You can build a new church without paying VAT, yet when money is raised to repair historic ones 20% can disappear in VAT before work begins. That feels wrong. I'll be raising this issue in Westminster.
The asylum system is broken. The backlog didn't appear out of nowhere. It's the result of years of failure to properly resource the Home Office. The answer isn't another gimmick. Fund the Home Office. Clear the backlog. Process claims.

Raiding pensions to fund social care isn't the answer! Our social care system needs fixing, but the Government can't tell older people that the price of getting dignified care in old age is a weaker guarantee on their pensions.
Less politics. More progress. π

βοΈπ A cup of coffee. A huge difference. Macmillan βοΈ Mornings raise vital funds to support people living with cancer. Huge thank you to everyone across North Norfolk getting involved & making a difference.
Rejoining the EU isn't on the table. That doesn't mean accepting unnecessary barriers with our closest neighbours. Instead of reigniting the battles of 2016, let's build towards a relationship that supports growth and makes life easier for North Norfolk's families & businesses.
π We're an island nation, yet still don't have a dedicated Minister responsible for coastal communities. That isn't good enough! I'll keep pushing until people living along our precious coastline get a voice at the top table of Govt. If you live by the sea & agree, share this.
Whether you live or run a business in a village or market town, access to banking and cash close to home is vital π·
It was great to meet up with LINK at #ldconf today to keep pushing for that access all across North Norfolk.
You bump into the very best people at conference!
Two weeks back in Westminster - here's what I've been fighting for... Before Parliament returned, I asked what you wanted me to fight for over the next six months. What should I take on nextβοΈ Tell me in the comments...,
Touring isn't the job. Policing is. Norfolk elected a Police & Crime Commissioner to tackle crime - not go off on tour! π€― If Mr Sutton is taking time away from the job, he should give back his Β£70k salary. We can put that money to better use.
Hugely disappointed that the Assisted Dying Bill was defeated yesterday. Once again, I voted for it because I believe people facing the end of their lives deserve dignity, choice and compassion.
