What a thrill yesterday to see #topiary trimming in action behind Univ of York’s @york.ac.uk Heslington Hall, home to our Centre for Eighteenth Century Studies. The original topiary design dates from the early #18thCentury & was inspired by Dutch gardens.

A man on a ladder lift using an electric trimmer on a very high yew topiary, with a green lawn in front.Hazard at work signs on a lawn, next to a large round yew topiary, which a man is trimming with an electric hedge trimmer, while balanced in a wire bucket at the top of a crane lift.
