I’m proud to support @jamestalarico.bsky.social as Texas’s next Senator. Let’s do this.

This is unreal. Weakens Ukraine (who with sufficient support could win the war) and for no good reason reverses long standing US policy. Cause for concern.

It’s time do a bit of a “freak out”. How many times are these hacks allowed to go back - on truly specious grounds - in attempts to get the results they want ??? Missouri is already printing ballots. 🤦🏽‍♂️

To the media: stand up, be strong. Do NOT capitulate. Support CNN, MSNOW and Politico. If you stay together you will win and a core tenet of our system - the First Amendment - will be protected. Man up.

What Constitution were Thomas and Alito reading? This was not a close case.

🚨Texas Republicans have decided to close 92 polling sites ahead of the midterm elections. That’s roughly a 30% reduction of places Texans can go to vote. Republicans are doing everything they can to make it harder for Texans - and Americans everywhere - to exercise their right to vote.

This anniversary is a somber one. Gutting the Voting Rights Act has paved the way for a dark chapter in our democracy and our nation’s history - one where voters are disenfranchised. But we can never give up on the fight for progress. We can do this.

It’s time to call this out. The most unqualified person to ever be SecDef is blocking the promotions of high level people for racial and gender reasons not related to their experience or merit. That makes him a person with racist and sexist issues - and a hack who weakens our armed forces.

To honor my beloved Vivian - and so many others - we fight. We’ll win if we do. Evil and hate are not as strong as righteousness and determination. We can do this!

June 11, 1963. My late sister in law - Vivian Malone - with the help of the Department of Justice and President Kennedy integrated the University of Alabama. The Governor of the state, George Wallace, stood in the school house door to prevent her from enrolling.

ERIC HOLDER STATEMENT MAY 2026
Now, Memphis going to be connected to another
dark chapter in our country’s story, one where we
are entering revised, modern-day Jim Crow,
where politicians act with impunity to diminish the
voting power of Black and Latino communities
across the country. Republicans want us to believe
that Tennessee’s newest and repressive
gerrymander is justified for partisan reasons—as if
that were somehow consistent with the best of
American democracy. The reality is that there is no
moral justification that can be made for knowingly
splitting apart historically Black community and
drowning out its votes by pairing it with extremely
wealthy, predominantly white suburbs hundreds of
miles away. In fact, it is immoral.
Tennessee Republicans shamelessly and happily
racing to diminish the voting power of Black citizens
shows just how detrimental the Roberts
decision to gut the Voting Rights Act is to our
democracy.

Texas is close to not being a functioning democracy It’s the hardest place to vote because Republicans have put impediments in place based on totally bogus vote fraud concerns - that they just make up The courts have become complicit in this effort What we’re seeing in Texas now is a disgrace

Bovino is not leaving Minneapolis cause he wants to. Not cause Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, Vance or Trump want him to go. He’s leaving because the extraordinary “ordinary” citizens of that great city - by peacefully protesting en masse - kicked him out. Lesson to be learned. We have power.

At this time of trouble for our nation, the words and example of a friend and one of my heroes, John Lewis, are a strong and motivating guide. He shared this in his last essay to the American people, penned just before he passed away:
