The ban is for delta8, if you live in a state with legal recreational/medical use, you will still be able to purchase delta9 products at dispensaries! You wont be able to buy delta8 at grocery stores/gas stations. This is a hard hit for states where delta9 is illegal since 8 is the only option. 😢

Posts a rare nsfw piece... now I will return to the void of 300 more sfw pieces before the next one. 😂

Oh I know!! I love VGen!! ❤️

💯 agreed!!

This isn't directed at anyone specific (though I admit, I do have some art I've been waiting yrs on and am ghosted/left on read). I mainly think it would be nice to have a place to uplift reliable artists, give them a space to get more clients. ❤️

I'm unfortunately waiting years on multiple pieces now and probably will never get the art. The artists have either dropped off the Internet or are still active (and I see them being active drawing adopts and personal art non-stop) but ghosting me. 😭 Mainly communication is very very important!

But I feel like if a delay beyond what is discussed happens, artists should be able and willing to offer refunds to clients without giving them a hard time if they don't want to wait that long. I'm just so sad when my rare extra $ is treated like a gift and not a purchase.

It's the artists who don't communicate with their clients, or do communicate but in a harsh or dismissive way that irks me. When paying for a service, I believe it should be given in a timely manner that both the artist and client agree and understand. Of course delays may come up, that happens!

Even if they do personal art during that time! We don't get paid sick leave like a normal 9-5 so it's understandable to be doing personal art or not paid work when using that sick time. Even if the artist is out for months sick from a chronic illness or surgery, communication is key!!

Seconding what another said, this is at artists who don't communicate! I'm very patient and have waited years on art and been totally okay with that as long as the artist is up front about the wait and/or communicates the delays! And I don't mind at all if an artist is taking sick time,

Ugh I know! I really hate it because I LOVE seeing my characters in different styles and supporting others in the fandom but I'm just so tired of being burnt and never getting the art. 😭

I'll DM you!!

But on the subject of VGen, I have two free codes I can give out to anyone interested! Note: I will vet you slightly by looking into your socials to see your work ethic and flow, I want to give my codes to reliable artists!

I only comms friends or VGen users now because I don't know who to trust anymore. Would love a website where I can browse reliable artists open for comms and see their client reviews. VGen is great but something entirely furry/animal would be peak!

We need a website dedicated to promoting good reliable artists. I'm so tired of waiting years in art, asking for updates, getting no replies, being told they are too sick to work while they draw adopts/personal art, etc etc.

Hang in there friend, I'm so sorry for your loss. 🩷
