Given the way that LLM and LLM guardrails inherently work as statistical text completion generators, it feels weird to classify this as a security vulnerability so much as just how these things operate. Which making using them in security critical contexts a choice.

The funny thing about LLMs in security contexts is it is as if we tried to make computers vulnerable to social engineering too. And all of the cybersecurity controls for them are also made of social engineering, and are thus easily exploitable.
wrote on saturday that trump was not going to let democrats avoid the question of impeachment and here we are with an offense that would have had a president impeached, removed and *at least* exiled if it had happened at any point prior to now.
yes and I would go further to say that they aren’t particularly excited to sell that message anyway.
is there anyone thinking/writing about the actual mechanics of disentangling the US government from elon musk?
And this kinda goes without saying but in 2028, all bets are going to be off. While having Congress in Democratic hands will be a big deal, we should absolutely worry about where Trump's DOJ - which is raiding members of the political opposition on cooked up pretexts - will be in two years.
Stuff like this is why, despite the fact that it will not help them in a wave election year and will almost certainly hurt them overall politically, I continue to believe Trump sending DOJ to interrupt/seize ballot counting in at least one jurisdiction this cycle is a real possibility.
"People who don't want to think about politics use X" is one of the most revealing statements you can make.
This sentence is just bouncing around in my brain, tearing holes through my cerebral cortex and making my eyes bleed.
To put a very fine point on this. How can we get vested capital to take aim at Elon's obvious lust to destroy democracy and anyone who opposes him? They won't even stop living on his website.
Blessed are those with offline spouses. ✊
There's a corollary to this, and it's that This Guy is also the worst shot you have ever seen, and the range officer stands directly behind him for his entire stay

An amazingly stark example of how the US economy has broken: Zaslav clears nearly a *billion* dollars amid a CEO tenure where he made basically anything he touched worse, harmed multiple prestigious brands, led huge layoffs—but delivered a corrupt merger for shareholders. variety.com/2026/tv/news...

Saying this in public is the kind of thing that will come back to haunt you
So you're telling me this wasn't intentional.
That’s not easy, and we’ve had to make a lot of changes and sacrifices to our lives in order to make that possible in a way that we think is *fair* to each of them. It’s a constant balance. Not for nothing, my ability to do a lot of remote work now is the keystone.
Like so many populists, GOPers are much more interested in simple sounding "one secret trick" plans. Hence the "just have Johnson not seat people" nonsense. Actually rigging the election would take a lot of strategic planning and effort they seem unprepared for.
