@sarahsbrannen.bsky.socialAfter I illustrated MONARCH AND MOURNING CLOAK (by @mstewartscience.bsky.social) I became immersed in nature journaling. I'm most taken with the native wildflower perpetual journal; you add one new entry each week, so the journal takes shape slowly over time.
@sarahsbrannen.bsky.socialNature journaling has made me much more observant. Plus I'm learning what all the plants are around here! I walked by a shagbark hickory tree for years without noticing it or realizing what it was.
