@sanguine-sophie.bsky.socialReposted by @jonieroo.bsky.socialPeople notice when you care. The little gestures that you think nothing of mean the world to their recipients The quirks and flaws that you're self-conscious about are what your friends miss when you're not around You mean more to the people around you than you realize, I promise.

@jonieroo.bsky.socialYou have been one of the biggest emotional motivators for my writing I swear. Talking with you over our mutual love for character work, worldbuilding, etc has been a great highlight of the year and I want you to know I absolutely appreciate you as a friend! β€οΈ
@theodicytrench.bsky.socialReposted by @jonieroo.bsky.socialbsky.app/profile/joni... Roo Records is your go-to stop for amazing works of fiction both in and out of the Korps universe, mainly Korps stuff *for now* but in my communications with Jonie she is a skilled worldbuilder and writer wherever her keyboard takes her... go forth and read!
@theodicytrench.bsky.socialReposted by @jonieroo.bsky.socialFor #furrybookmonth you have to read Erosion. Catch up now so you can join the countless other critters and creatures who are also biting their claws waiting for the next release. Support books that are burgeoning and about to blossom under their author's quill.
@ethesoc.blacksky.appReposted by @jonieroo.bsky.socialAll that is happening has been a reminder of this also: White people, while MTG, Trump, and all of them may not represent you individually, they do represent your white grievances and privilege in US society. @blackapostate.blacksky.appReposted by @jonieroo.bsky.socialhow beautiful the world would be if white people became a totally new thing, freed of whiteness as we know it. they were once separate ethnicities and cultures. they were one pre christian and pre colonial. it's time for the post colonial version to emerge.
@gaudipern.bsky.socialReposted by @jonieroo.bsky.socialMe: ...this is a thing you can discuss and be proud of? Him: Yeah? Me: That's because your Irish identity is an inclusive one. You have it because something in your qualities *includes* you in the group; your blood relation and family history. Whiteness is an *exclusive* identity. It exists only to
@gaudipern.bsky.socialReposted by @jonieroo.bsky.socialI had an interaction recently where a dude complained "as a White guy, I can never be proud of anything connected to my White identity. It feels unfair." Me: You're part Irish, right? Him: Yeah? Me: That's cool, where's your family from? Him: Dublin...? Me: That's such a pretty city! Do you see how
