We've now surpassed 75% of our funding goal! In addition to subscriptions, we've got t-shirts, mugs, signed books, stuff from the magazine archives... We're still about $12,000 away from our $50,000 target with 7 days remaining, so please consider backing if you haven't already.

Also back in time I read the essay "When the Book Wasn’t Better or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Adaptation" by the @inktofilm.bsky.social team of Luke Elliott and James Bailey. A fascinating discussion about adaptations. www.uncannymagazine.com/article/when...

I just finished reading "Home/Body" by
@ph-low.com from @uncannymagazine.bsky.social 72. I am not entirely sure what it is I just read, but it felt magical. It is 2nd person perspective, which is always a different experience. Definitely deserves a reread.

In Marvellous Mmesomachi Igwe’s free SF poem “Recollection,” a ship carries 60 million frozen embryos away from a drowned Earth. Its half-human, half-silicon caretaker holds the memory of a home the children will never see. https://www.uncannymagazine.com/article/recollection/ #SFF #Poetry

P. H. Low’s “Home/Body” is free to read: an exhausted architecture student enters a house that reshapes them room by room. Upstairs, a door opens onto different worlds, waiting for one that calls to them. https://www.uncannymagazine.com/article/home-body/ #SFF #ShortFiction

It’s long been a dream of mine to be published by @uncannymagazine.bsky.social, one of THE top magazines in genre fiction. Today, I’m excited to say I am—but with nonfiction! That I get to share the spotlight w/ my Ink to Film co-host @jamebail.bsky.social makes it all the better. I hope all enjoy!
