UPDATE: As promised, we’ve been watching SEC filings to ensure Citizens Bank keeps its promise to stop lending to CoreCivic and GEO Group. A new filing from GEO Group confirms Citizens is no longer the lead bank on the company’s $550M credit agreement.

45 asylum seekers imprisoned in Georgia's Folkston ICE detention center went on hunger strike today. Some have been in this concentration camp for three years. They demand immediate release into the US, protection from re-detention and deportation, and reunification with loved ones.

CBP issued a fine for more than $900,000 to a woman who came to the U.S. from Guatemala to escape domestic violence.

“I’ve had days when I don’t sleep, thinking that at any moment they can knock on my door, arrest, me, leave my children alone,” she said in an interview with Scripps News. “I couldn’t pay off all that money even with my whole life.”

Virginia-based firm ResponseAI takes over the DHS Home "self deportation" app from the embattled Salus Worldwide Solutions. The company's past ICE contracts include so-called skip tracing awards for locating people for ICE's expansive deportation sweeps.

🧵 ICE is set to open a new facility for unaccompanied migrant kids at an airport deportation hub in Alexandria, Louisiana, to speed up deportations. Sen. Ron Wyden said deported kids will be put at risk for "falling into horrific cycles of trafficking and abuse."
