Avoid The Discourse™️on The Social Wire with one simple toggle: this will disable all Bluesky/Microblogging features while letting you keep up with the news The Wire and Your Circle use data from across the Atmosphere, not just Bluesky engagement, to bring you the news, with less engagement bait

A screenshot of The Social Wire's "Feed Display" settings, with the 'Social' row highlighted with a yellow box. The toggle on the right will hide the Social section

These new additions further our goal to be your home on the social web Like all of our other feeds, though, you also have the ability to disable any you don't use to keep your sidebar nice and clean!

Our Bluesky experience pulls in a lot of queues from our sibling app, Quill (which is currently only available on iOS), but refined for the web Some of what we've got so far: - Full support for feeds, lists, notifications, explore, and DMs - Full Markdown support in the editor - Quoted quotes

A screenshot of The Social Wire, but the sidebar now contains a section called 'Social' that has the typical Bluesky tabs: Home, Explore, Notifications, Messages, Bookmarks, Lists, and Feeds. Like Bluesky proper, the content sits in the middle, and your list of additional feeds sits in a sidebar to the right

The Sports topic allows you to do much of the same, but with your favorite sports Features: - Follow sports, leagues, and teams (with limited support for individual players) - A schedule that can show everything or just your teams - Standings (where supported) - Brackets (where supported)

A screenshot of the Sports topic in The Social Wire, which has much of the same layout as the Finance topic, but at the top is a schedule of the matches coming up, the sidebar has your sports, teams, and leagues, and the main content is, obviously, about sports

The Finance topic allows you to see what people are sharing from across the atmosphere about the securities you care about. Features: - A scroll of popular tickers and their performance - The ability to filter the feed to certain industries, groups, and stocks - The ability to follow securities

A screenshot of The Social Wire showing off the new Finance topic. At the top of the window there's a scrolling bar of popular stock tickers and a line graph showing their performance on the day, along with their current price and movement on the day. Below that is a picker that allows the user to search for securities, industries, and more. Below that is the news content and to the right is a sidebar containing the securities you're following.
