Non-profit media studio from filmmaker Adam McKay (Don’t Look Up) exposing Big Oil lies and the dangerous new world they've created. Jokes included but not guaranteed.
Yep. An ASMR video with OF star Little Puck cosplaying as a mythical sea creature to give you climate action tips... Or as we call it at here at Yellow Dot, just another Thursday.
"Nearly 93% of known plastic chemicals used to wrap food and make clothes, toys, and other common household and personal care products pose a high risk to human health" Plastic, mind you, is Big Oil's backup plan, on the off chance we decide to swap free solar energy for planet-killing fossil fuel.

💯. Tho technically, data center cooling water + fossil fuel power cooling water is two huge issues. 🍒
In the US alone, developers are planning a >6X increase in data center capacity (from our current 62 GW to more than 387 GW!) including some of the biggest fossil fuel plants in the US to power them. cleanview.co/data-centers...
That will use as much water as 6 New York Cities or 54 million people.
Last year, data centers used 264 billion gallons (1 trillion liters) of water, mostly to cool their fossil fuel power sources — which are also heating the planet and reducing freshwater availability. If we keep going like this, there's going to be no water left for Sarah Arabic's t-shirt 🥵
And don't tell, but between us, Adam teases Yellow Dot's next video, dropping very soon 🤫😉
"When I made the movie, and in the year or two afterwards, pretty much everyone treated me like I was crazy, I was overreacting. And that's not really the case anymore."
@ghostpanther.bsky.social talks disasters, climate, and Hollywood in Pakistan's Express Tribune
Bree and Charm oil up to wrestle with all the ways Big Oil is knocking us out, while making us fight each other. Some have called this "possibly the greatest PSA of all time." (We did, just now.)
Step into her office: Dr. Tess Tosterone examines the epidemic of micro-plastic and petrochemicals causing health, fertility, and performance issues in our "downstairs." #headlinenewds
As hot and bothered as this gets us, it’s still no match for Big Oil.
The Wet Bulb Limit might sound sexy - but it's not. In the latest episode of Headline Newds, Megan Prescott works up a sweat explaining how it makes sweat stop working 🍒💦
We just cracked the strongest El Niño in 1000 years (or ever?) but it’s just another day at the office for the Big Oil execs keeping us from using the abundant free solar energy that would stop this.
Tonight at Littlefield NYC!
Come stay alive with Julio Torres, Usama Siddiquee, Stuart Goldsmith, Dylan Adler and Zach Schiffman!
Essentially Exxon has just publicly announced their company’s entire business will end life as we know it on the planet within about 20-25 years. Maybe that’s why they did it. 3C by 2050 still seems “far off” & abstract for many. As opposed to the catastrophic 2C we’re facing more & more next yr..
"Fuck it. Just announce it. We own the Government and news media plus the NFL just started so no one's paying attention. Now let's hit the links."
"Wars and tariffs may get the blame for inflation, but they have a costly accomplice: climate change" Yeah but the climate didn't decide to overheat itself, so let's call this what it is: Big-Oilflation. Pollutionflation. Lies-and-BSflation. Corrupt-lawmakerflation. Exxonflation. Shellflation etc

"Why is the first time I'm fully understanding what El Niño is... because of an explanation from Girthmasterr?"

Yeah, we're firmly (but proudly) in the "we'll try literally anything" stage of the climate emergency.

"Call it 70% and let's just move on."
