@addi.socialI'm looking to make art! Anyone need a pretty cover for one of your upcoming books/Anthologies/chapbooks/etc? I love working with indie authors and also with presses. Here are a few Science Fiction examples I've worked up recently. Either DM me here or contact me through addi.studio
And please RT!
@jasonsanford.bsky.socialReposted by @addi.socialI love Asimov's Science Fiction and the magazine's editors. I've published many stories in the magazine. I subscribe to the magazine. Despite that, I'm done with the new MRM owners. This statement is BS. The new owners have squandered the goodwill of their magazines' readers, writers, and fans. 1/
@addi.socialThe situation with Must Read Media is both ludicrously complicated and very simple. They come from a world where everyone is shitty and backstabbing as a matter of course. To them, business is about fucking people over. And our entire community is saying no and showing them the door.
@addi.socialI bet they’ll be so relieved to find out they don’t need to worry about this! Phew. What a load off their minds, right?
@badwriter.bsky.socialReposted by @addi.socialThis is the way the publishing industry has always worked. I'm not aware of anyone, anywhere having sued over it. It's a pretty normal way of doing business for us, and I just don't see what problem MRM is purporting to fix with this, beyond simply justifying an overly rights-grabby contract.
@addi.socialFixed the cat problem tho

@jodipickens.bsky.socialReposted by @addi.socialYou are allowed to be excited about things other people don't understand. The book. The fandom. The hobby. The seasonal decoration that absolutely did not need to come home with you. Enthusiasm is not embarrassing. Being delighted by something is actually pretty great. 🧡
@addi.socialReposted by @addi.socialIf anyone's looking for inspiration for what to write, I have some cool new premade covers in my gallery. Use one as inspiration and get it customized. <3

Disregarding that I'm already a day behind, I hope you'll follow along with me as I explore some great works of weird media across various formats!
@strangeisthenight.bsky.socialReposted by @addi.socialDon’t use AI for your cover, hire an artist! Lots of cool premade options from @addi.social!
@ericfomley.bsky.socialReposted by @addi.socialState of Decay (Out 3/2) -- Snag it for .99!
From post apocalyptic and dystopian futures to ordinary people facing extraordinary threats, each story offers a glimpse into worlds where survival comes at a cost and humanity is tested in unexpected ways.
Check out the cool cover art by @addi.social!
@nathanhallwrites.bsky.socialReposted by @addi.socialYou ever think, what I want isn't to be a successful author. That would be cool, but no. What I want is a UBI that lets me write full-time. I'd be unstoppable.
@addi.socialI’m going to work on some more premade book covers this weekend! Anyone have a theme they want me to tackle? 👀
