As a creator/publisher: I'd REALLY like for Sweet Shop to work out. Post-Amazon buyout, Comixology died on the vine. It's a non-service, at this point. Sweet Shop is run by ppl who actually give a crap about comics and want to make it easier for people to read them. So grab some ultra-cheap books!

hey if you're on this app to escape the hellscape of the former bird app it seems counterintuitive to constantly repost or post in detail about awful stuff from there to over here Now we just have two doomscroll apps, just that this one is seeing the doom through a very thin pane of glass

Folks, there are *looks at list, nearly faints* FIVE projects on Kickstarter right now that feature my colour work and I'd love to take a moment to spotlight them for your support

An odd observation about my career in comics: I've been lucky enough to work on a lot of great IP, but it's almost always through somebody else's style filter. Case in point: I love Batman and I've gotten to draw him a lot. All the art here is by me but none are *my* Batman. (1/3)

PAID GIG

I'm looking for someone who could provide ASL illustrations based on a script. There are 50 to 6O signs needed.

This is for a comic I'm translating. You'd either be providing ASL illustrations for someone to use when adapting the artwork, or working in the art directly.

Not pining to return to an impossible publishing climate, but it was certainly cool when publishers found themselves treading water on a title they were obliged to keep printing and just turned it over to weirdos for the final gasps.
