I was excited to get this distant shot of a Rusty Blackbird. They are very rarely seen in my area.

A bird perched on the end of a broken off, grey, weathered branch, looks skyward. The bird has a golden brown head, neck & breast. The wing & tail is a dark steely grey. The gold eye is surrounded by black. The sky is a powder blue.
