I am SO hyped on this piece, this movie is so good, there's so much to unpack, and as I put it in Slack, 'it's hella cool when Gillian Anderson does super gay shit.'

Chronic illness is a huge reason most of my friends are pocket friends. But we do have a small circle of in person friends we actually see from time to time.

i really like s.e.'s response here. Making friends as an adult is hard, and it's harder when you've been burned before. There is simply no way to guarantee that the people you care for will care for you back, or care for you in the ways you need to be cared for. Being human is emotionally risky.

Especially in the long covid era, having all your friends slowly fade away because you are having a terrible time and not feeling your best self is systemic. It's both isolating and radicalizing, and sending solidarity to people in this position! Along with suggestions from my personal experience.
