We're telling the company behind Tefal - SEB - to phase out forever chemicals - or risk a lawsuit. We don't think SEB is doing enough to address the health and environmental risks of using forever chemicals. SEB has 3 months to commit to transition away from forever chemicals or face legal action.

That letter has not been answered. The highest echelons of the European Commission are hiding in the corridors of shame Von der Leyen promised in 2020 to end these double standards and “lead by example” That promise was quietly withdrawn under pressure from the German chemical industry and CropLife

🏆 Judge Navi Pillay just won the Nobel Peace Prize. Pillay chaired UN commission that concluded Israel was guilty of genocide in Gaza. Earlier this year she told MEPs exactly what EU pesticide export double standards cost people around the world. The Commission still hasn’t answered her. Thread 🧵👇
