washed ashore
lost on the #delta
the vastness like a caul
suffocating
heavy

watching for sails
for any tiny hope
that you'll make it here

You squander your longings and arrive at an unrecognizable Delta that lures you in, promising everything that's been missing.

That's when you turn away.

After our long journey together
when speed of life
came down
some #delta appeared
amongst us
those were however
fertile with the
love and emotions
of our journey together
look beautiful flowers
are growing on them
look how our love is smiling
just before we meet the sea

Delta of our love
Emotions spread way too far
Dying embers glow

In the sediment
Of daylight,
I stopped a while
With a creature
Of the #Delta,
Guarding a threshold,
A triad of pathways
To the unknown,
As the ingress
Of night
Obscured
The purple twilight
And became
A floodplain
Of immeasurable
Starlight.

there’s a poetic #delta between
the known and unknown
seen and unseen
that binds and enriches us
teaches us
reaches us
in ways to make us
understand
in ways that gives us
command
over living dreams
lustful schemes
under luscious, luminous
moonbeams
that mere human survival
dares us
demand

delta - such a versatile word

On break, needfully puffing on their cigarettes, the nurses contemplated that their ward was the delta of exhaustion; every smile ended there, every tear began there. They were strong; however, and bucked up to keep going.

The UFO had been stuck in the river for as long as anyone could remember. The water split around it like a #delta or a small island.

Kids would dare each other to swim out and try to open the hatch on top. Ricky claimed he got inside, but that alien skull could have come from anywhere.

delta
hidden triangles
hearts
lost in Bermuda
stormy seas
earthquakes
hurricane of love
the salt water
healing as it
washes over me

at the #delta
of change
I choose which
of many rivers
to follow
but is it a choice?
or am I simply
taking different paths
to the same ocean?

HISTORY OF WAR

It’s a universal countdown to apocalypse,
#Delta-winged angels spitting lies and megadeath.
All I hear on the radio are rockets from every angle,
And people mumbling such miserable excuses.

The house had been getting smaller.

Doors still fit their frames, furniture stayed put, but Casey couldn’t get over the feeling the walls were closing in. The #delta between measurements proved it.

Yesterday, the hall lost six inches.

Behind the wallpaper, something else was growing.

I was in the middle of my lecture on the Matcha Drawdown Crisis of 96 when I was interrupted by Colonel Chiffon and his soldiers...

After weeks of searching, they found her body, deposited into the #delta of the local river

They thought finding her corpse would provide answers, but it left them with more questions

What kind of creature could have removed all her bones, while leaving her skin intact?

Patiently waiting for the November #Delta to see if we can take the first steps toward getting the country out of the hands of the parasite class and back to the people.

There's nothing more soul-crushing than waiting at the crossroads in the #Delta for the Devil to appear only for him to tell you he's not interested in your soul because you don't play an instrument.
Apparently a full DJ deck doesn't count.

the fish remembers the #delta,

as pain receptors flare along its lip
it takes one last look
one last gulp of air,
before the knife slices through
the silver scales of its belly
(oh, how the fish could shine!)
it blinks one last time, thinks
who knows, maybe heaven is a delta

My eyes glazed over
as my sexy mathematician
bitch of an ex
girlsplained the complex formula
that proved our relationship
no longer added up

Seems the #delta
between her material expectations
and the sum of my net income
exceeded her affections
for soon to be subtracted me
