Got a bit overambitious, got away from me for a moment, took a bit more sweat and a bit more tweaking than usual. But I think it worked out in the end.

There's a village near where I live where there's this tree that awkwardly hugs the last remnants of a stone wall.
I've been wanting to paint it for a while. And I took the chance to put in a tiny homage to a favorite of mine, Rien Poortvliet.

QRP with your most popular piece on bsky - My D&D characters from 1995 to 2023 on a single page! Those I played for more than a few sessions at least.

A series of 11 Dungeons and Dragons characters drawn and inked on a 12x9 bristol board. The shading is done with screentone sticker sheets. The highlight is clearly the first character, made for the second edition. He is a human fighter named Aragorn Hawkins and he has a hawk symbol on his chest. 12 years old me was inspired...
