This is quite a response to data showing that the number of children receiving food assistance has plummeted since the deepest SNAP cuts in history were signed into law last summer. www.propublica.org/article/snap...

A USDA spokesperson did not address ProPublica’s questions about the number of children who have lost access to SNAP. “There is no shortage of resources for the most vulnerable among us, including children,” the spokesperson said.

Good news from Tennessee: the governor signed the state budget last Friday which makes it SUPER official that summer EBT is coming back to Tennessee in 2027 to help get kids the meals they need!
