My most satisfying campaign moment today: helping Joy, who had been my mother’s closest teaching buddy at Balmoral in North Van, prep for voting and get to the polls

Hiya, my people. Second day of advance voting until 8 p.m.! Please vote early if you are decided, so we can spend more time supporting those who need it. I was at the Fraser/10 bike lane this morning (7:30 a.m. , argh) and so many of our supporters had already voted, yay!

My personal rule is, always vote. Pick the least worst candidate. Pick the best referendum answer. The worst people don’t want you to vote. Vote

From everything I've heard from various sources, some developers/big biz types putting tons of money into ABC -- they're not crazy about him but don't want council chaos and figure Sim/ABC are the least bad, We citizens of Vancouver don't have to go along with this

Police out of politics. In 2022 ABC's campaign manager Kareem Allam said, "We are extremely honoured to have the endorsement of the VPU." That was a dangerous precedent. Glad it's not happening again this election.

Vancouver doesn't have a Mamdani, but then again it doesn't need one - just vote OneCity (or Cope).

The Seattle Miracle: 1️⃣ Seattle’s tree canopy cover grew 50% (10pp) since 2007. 🌲 2️⃣ Seattle’s population has grown by about 25% (150k people) over the same timeframe. 🌆 This is an incredible civic achievement. Politicians should be shouting this from the rooftops.

It shouldn't require a lawyer to run for office with your given name. We're fighting for the right to use my given Chinese name 陶思穎 on the ballot. If you agree that candidates should be able to use their given names on the ballot, donate to my campaign so I can fight for fairer representation.
