We finally got the yellow stripe down the 2-way Borden Avenue. Now I don't have to yell back at drivers that I'm not going the wrong way. There are two not-so-good sections where parked cars narrow it. But it is so much better than prior. Gamechanger. @misernyc.bsky.social @nyc.streetsblog.org

Renshaw was pretty good. I guess.

Tough decision for man of the match. I'd go with Markram #SAvAUS

It's why I really support compulsory voting here in Australia. It takes away strategies like voter suppression, and limits the impact of complacency.

Hard to hold elections when you're being terrorised by Israel

I'll make the cut one day...

They're behaviours that as a bike/motorbike rider you learn to anticipate and protect yourself, but many drivers don't even realise they've done it. Until they do something where the bike rider has no time to adjust and it's a bad outcome.

@coxyjindas.bsky.socialOct 12, 2026, 4:16 AM

Yes. And it's often not even outwardly dangerous stuff. It's just being fixated looking one way and then not looking back to see a bike coming. Or overtaking a bike even though you know you have to turn left into a driveway in like 10 seconds.

Yeah could well be a slight increase in numbers of people travelling by motorcycle. Certainly not enough to justify the jump in fatalities (and the usual commentary blames the victim...)

We’ve been talking about this for years. None of these far-right movements are organic.

To highlight Queensland's increasing road safety crisis for anyone not in a car, so far in 2026, motorcyclist fatalities are 12% above the 5 year average, bicycle rider fatalities are 25% above, and pedestrians a massive 33% above the 5 year average. Those 3 groups represent 42% of all fatalities

My view would be robotaxis, with just one traffic lane available and designated stopping locations. The rest of the space returned to cycling, walking and transit. Of course I recognise that isn't how it will happen in the real world because crony capitalism

@coxyjindas.bsky.socialOct 11, 2026, 8:37 AM

I fully support robotaxis if private car ownership is prohibited.

Just filmed a video about my interaction with the Queensland Police Counter Terrorism Unit. Is the shirt inflammatory?

We had a SuPeR YaChT visit Brisbane. I'm really disappointed it didn't catch fire and sink.

One of the most inspirational and heart-warming ducks of all time. Forget Jai Arrow walking on for his 100th game for Souths, this was the most emotional sporting comeback in history. I look forward to the limited edition memorabilia of Nic - 0 (33)

But what we all want to know is, are either of them wearing red underpants on their head? That was Conroy's superpower afterall.

Yeah definitely. And the simple fact is for almost all players winning a premiership is the dream. While you don't win premierships in March, you can lose them, so you don't want to miss out the early part of the season.
