Earlier this year, I saw ICE detaining people with no criminal record for weeks in a space designed to hold them for less than 12 hours.

With help from @oversightdemocrats.bsky.social, we forced them to comply with the law and clean up their act. We must keep up the pressure.

A pleasure to join leaders committed to affordable housing and delivering the American Dream at the Realtors Association's Broward Mayors Breakfast. With the More Homes on the Market Act, Making Condos Safer and Affordable Act and more, I'm fighting for just that in Congress.

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month! That means it’s a great time to schedule your mammogram and start doing regular self-exams. We must make this testing more accessible and invest in breast cancer research and awareness campaigns. I'll keep fighting for that in Congress.

When I conducted a surprise inspection of Alligator Alcatraz, I asked about "The Box," ICE's inhumane punishment device. They lied to my face and said it didn't exist. We must keep the pressure on to overhaul ICE and end the cruelty.

It looks like the worst of Hurricane Isaias will miss South Florida, but please urge your Panhandle family and friends to prepare for the worst. We saw what Milton did.

Beating cancer is hard enough. We can't leave those finishing active treatment alone in a wilderness. My Lainie Jones Comprehensive Cancer Survivorship Act gives cancer centers and local groups the resources to build structured exercise regimens to keep survivors in remission.

As we remember the thousands brutally killed, sexually assaulted and injured, as well as their families, we must work for a lasting peace for both Israelis and Palestinians. Both must be freed from Hamas terror and be able to rebuild from this tragedy.

@wassermanschultz.house.govOct 7, 2026, 1:38 PM

It's been three years since the horrific October 7th terror attack by Hamas against Israel. This day remains a painful time for so many who still need hope and healing, particularly the hundreds who were held hostage.

A planning pioneer and ethical stalwart, his legacy lives on all around us. May his memory be for a blessing.

Roy L. Rogers was a dear friend of mine who showed that growth and ecological stewardship can coexist. In Weston he embraced open spaces, shunned cookie-cutter sprawl and saved treasures like Peace Mound Park and ensured there was meaningful wetland mitigation.

When Democrats and activists put a spotlight on ICE's gross misconduct, it leads to change. We must keep the pressure on to end ICE cruelty for good.

Congress needs to have the back of America’s farmers. I just introduced a bipartisan bill to make sure the crops that fuel American families are protected from extreme weather threats. We need every tool to help farmers recover from natural disasters.

So glad to join FLoatarama's LGBTQ Youth Awards! Each dollar awarded builds a more welcoming, inclusive community, and ensures our kids get the support they deserve. Everyone must be able to live authentically with the same rights and freedom all Americans enjoy.

Democrats are shining a spotlight on cruelty and massive waste of taxpayer dollars at Florida's ICE facilities. We forced them to shut down Alligator Alcatraz and improve conditions in Miramar, and we won't stop there. I'll keep fighting to end ICE cruelty.

Glad to join Mayor Dean Trantalis and Fort Lauderdale residents at this year's State of the City address! The city’s progress in the past year, from public safety to infrastructure, is impressive. I look forward to working with the Mayor and City Commission in the year ahead!

A whistleblower told us that ICE detained hundreds of people in a garage and chained them overnight in Miramar, flagrantly violating a court order banning them from holding people longer than 12 hours. This treatment—without due process—is torture. We must keep fighting back.

My statement in in response to recent comments by U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth regarding a possible new military base:

@wassermanschultz.house.govOct 1, 2026, 6:42 PM

This is a pointless policy change designed to punish hardworking TSA agents. It will slow down security lines and needlessly distract frontline security officers. We shouldn't make it harder for federal workers to keep us safe from threats.

This #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, join me in honoring breast cancer fighters, survivors, their families and caregivers.

As a survivor myself, I want to remind you to please get an annual screening. It's our best tool for saving lives. It may save yours.
