This is a lifeline connection for many in the local community and I'm disappointed this council doesn't seem to be treating the issue with the urgency it deserves. I've emailed officers asking for an explanation of why this has slipped and what action will be taken to address this. 2/2

This year we secured a £2 bus fare cap in the Highlands and Islands. That's now been extended to Strathclyde region. But the Government says it could take up to 5 years to get to the rest of Scotland. England will reduce their cap to £2 in January. Scotland shouldn't have to wait.
