I have well and truly had enough of this current crop of teenagers who show no basic human respect and are just a shame on their parents and society. What have we lost? Why am I now once again fearful of going into my own town again. Who’s to blame, the parents, or a lack of good education and […]

Had a brilliant time @jae last night at the Scarborough Spa Theatre for “How Far Away Are They” which was an evening with some of the Phoenix Nights cast.

Amazing stories from Archie Kelly, Steve Edge, Neil Fitzmaurice, Janice Connolly, and Toby Foster.

It really makes me sad to see so many people still using GMail, just handing their data over to Google for their gain and AI training.

@fastmail really is the way to go, because whilst yes you pay for your email, it means it is your data.

They have an MCP server too, which is very handy for […]

If you/your project is affected by DigitalOcean stopping their OSS credits program, please shoot me a PM immediately. Might be able to help.

Boosts for visibility would be appreciated.

If you want to make sure that your site can be manipulated agentically by Meta's Muse, do not block traffic from ASN AS32934, because if you did that, it might make it impossible for the Muse agents to reach your site. 🤡

Pal dragged an .mp3 of Leonard Cohen's "You Want It Darker" from i-tunes onto his desktop. The song title got abbreviated in a rather unfortunate manner.

Oh, Donnie, you deranged fool, do you actually think you can end trans people ?

The only thing that’s going to end is your time in office and your freedom.

I’ll blame the post op recovery, but @jae somehow mixed up Jane Lynch and Judi Dench!

Beyond angry at @jae’s so called “Health Insurance” who wouldn’t help her make a claim over the phone.

CareSource bury their claim forms, and frankly are the same as all insurers - immoral scum leaching off Americans.

Thank smeg for the NHS!

Finding out that Jim “Bishop Brennan” Norton was in one of my childhood favourite shows, T-Bag, is just amazing.

Also, poor Jim, he’ll forever be known for being Len!

[Needles]

I got over my fear of needles and injections a while ago, but honestly having to inject the person you love the most ( @jae in case anyone is wondering) is one of the most scary things I've done.

Thankfully, single use easy to use injectors. 1 down, 27 to go.

[Surgery]

It seems it was @jae's turn to have to go to hospital on one of our trips.

She's just had her gallbladder removed! I have her permission to share.

She's experiencing the NHS as an American, and I think she's actually impressed. Huge thanks to the team at Scarborough - she wasn't […]

Whilst I'm still very much anti-AI slop, the use of an LLM here is a genuinely good use of AI tech.

Foundation Models on iOS and macOS are amazing, but sadly they aren't quite ready to handle all of this. I really hope that changes, of […]

So, I picked up the UGREEN DXP4800GT NAS this week.

It's a 4-bay (2 of which can take U.2 drives) NAS with 2 nVME slots and space for 2 x DDR4 SODIMMS. Shipped with one 8gb stick.
