To keep celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, I stopped by SadBoy Studio in Downtown Phoenix, founded by Pablo, a Phoenix native and son of Mexican immigrants. Fun fact: Pablo is also the artist behind my evil eye tattoo! 🧿

These agents are wearing disguises and masks, randomly shooting innocent people. They even posed as electricians in Phoenix last month to arrest a man in his own home. There's no end to ICE's cruelty and cowardice. We need to abolish and prosecute this rogue agency.

ICE is completely and utterly out of control. Agents wildly shot at Wilber Rafael Garcés Pérez in Austin, Texas last month and just last night at Oscar Belgal in New York City — while a 5-year-old was sitting in the back seat of Oscar's car.

Orphaned wells threaten our water, wildlife, and air, and are leaving Americans to foot the bill for the damage that oil and gas executives leave behind.

The only way we stop the Trump Administration, hold them accountable for the crimes they have committed and protect our environment, is to fight back with those who are willing to take bold action and treat the climate crisis as the dire threat it is.

Addressing the climate crisis is my life’s work and I believe it is the defining issue of our time. I was honored to join @briangarciaaz.bsky.social and local climate advocates for the No Denying Climate Change town hall in Phoenix.

I urge President Trump to take this threat seriously and take real action. It’s also imperative the U.S. lead negotiations with China to develop global rules of the road on AI.

This is an unacceptable position from President Trump and will end in catastrophe. It is the government’s job to regulate industry — especially frontier AI that has the capacity to harm human beings at a massive scale.

This gathering was a reminder that healing cannot happen by forgetting, but by listening to survivors, elders, families, and tribal leaders. Beyond grateful for the opportunity to learn and stand in solidarity with the Pascua Yaqui community.

I joined the Pascua Yaqui Tribe in Guadalupe for an Orange Shirt Day gathering to honor the survivors of residential boarding schools and remember the children who were separated from their families and tribes.

This Center is ready to tackle our extreme heat challenges. It will work on research and solutions that connect the dots between heat, water, energy, public health, and infrastructure—and then turn that research into practical solutions for all Arizonans.

I fought for this investment because Arizonans know that extreme heat is dangerous. We see it in our neighborhoods, in our hospitals and emergency rooms, and our power grid. We see it affecting people who work outside, older adults, families, and people experiencing homelessness.

I'm incredibly proud to have secured over $2 million in federal investments to create the @arizonastateuni.bsky.social Center for Heat Preparedness. This builds on work I’ve been doing for years—first locally here in Phoenix and now in Congress.
