Great question! i wanted to play around with these neural text classifiers, because they seem like a interesting technology for fast decisions. Yet for me it wasn't clear how fragile it is to specific wording. If you write "Right now Maya is relaxing", you'll get a 99% chance to keep on relaxing...

100 villagers in Java, zero LLMs. Each choice is one pass of Laya, a 421M classifier by Nandakishor Mukkunnoth. Click anyone to see the sentence it got. One bad phrase and all 100 chose "relax".

If an AI writes your code, is a second AI reviewing it just a yes-man? @filiphric.com from Qodo and I find out live, no Qodo knowledge needed. Thu Oct 8, 8pm CEST: youtube.com/live/ljntagQ...

youtube.comCan Qodo Catch What Claude Code Missed?Letting one AI review another AI's code sounds like an echo chamber. Similar models, similar blind spots, and a polite "looks good to me" at the end.So what ...

@mdelapenya.bsky.social built biomelab, an open-source dashboard for running several AI coding agents in parallel without losing track of which is doing what. I assumed each agent got its own isolated sandbox. Wrong, and the real reason is worth knowing.

I used to think GraphRAG was just RAG with @neo4j.com swapped in for the vector store. Simple, right?

Wrong, and I only found out by building something to check. Coming live Oct 1: youtube.com/live/fWOptSc...

youtube.comWait, GraphRAG Doesn't Work the Way I Thought It DidGraphRAG is RAG with a graph database swapped in for the vector store. That's what I believed a few weeks ago, right up until I built an app to test it.So wh...

Best part of the day: real skeptics and early adopters sitting in the same room, talking to each other without any anger or aversion. #JSD2026

Nice to see that team communication and solid workflows still mean a lot, even on a program full of AI talks. Still, almost every conversation drifted into AI anyway, probably because that's what interests me most right now.

Had a great day at JUG Saxony Day with two talks. 10:20, Salon Lößnitz, code reviews. 16:55, Hamburg 2, failure stories. Both rooms were pretty much full, and people really seemed to enjoy the failure stories. 🧵 Photo © JUG Saxony e. V.

That sounds great 😇

😅 just saw on the first page, that there is a tiny "0.9.5" text ^^ Does that mean i am a beta tester? :D

😅 i think adding some education, just like you have in your talks, would increase the value a lot.

Loved the visual style! From the content i kind of hoped for more facts so it would be more educational and less entertainment, but i enjoyed reading it anyway. 🤓

I know that AI art does destroy jobs, yet at the same time it lets a software security publish his own comic and that is pretty amazing too.

The book is pretty short and you have to know his talks to really get it, but still, a genuinely cool thing to hold.

I ordered my friend @aerabi.com new comic, Black Forest Shadow, about Docker/K8s security. It just arrived. He drew every panel with AI.

Quick reminder: Don't mess up selecting the right Tom!

@rabauer.devSep 22, 2026, 1:30 PM

I've run a dozen AI coding tools live on stream. Copilot, Junie, IBM Bob, Antigravity, Kiro. All cloud-hosted. I still haven't found a local model that's actually good at generating code. Who's cracked this? What's your stack?

@rabauer.devSep 21, 2026, 8:15 AM

Fr, 25.09. Radebeul: Salon Lößnitz & Hamburg 2. #JSD2026

@rabauer.devSep 20, 2026, 6:37 PM

Yes, i have the feeling that the bigger models don't always produce better results, but longer ones. So if you keep your steps short and your sessions short lived, it helps a lot. If you have the right skills and workflows, that's even better :)

@rabauer.devSep 18, 2026, 5:10 PM

Everyone keeps asking which model I use. Wrong question. Months of streaming live AI-assisted coding taught me the model is rarely the bottleneck. A rules file the AI actually reads, small iterations, and letting tests judge the diff beat any model swap. Workflow > model. What's yours?
