also love my friends i made when i was still insecure and unsure and still are friends even after finding out our interests in art don't exactly.. overlap as much as they thought. they gave me the affirmation that it's okay to be me *confidently* even if it doesn't please everyone

reflecting upon why leaving the general fat fur scene took so long, and it was that fear of rejection. so even if a lotta people did leave or couldn't accept what i wanna do now, it really does mean so so much to me how many people stayed and even how many new people have flocked to see what i do <3

the "being compared" thoughts are relevant in my head rn cause it's happening again lately but of the maybe 5 other artists i regularly get compared to now there's one in particular that makes me feel like a hack. i gotta remind myself they're a moot so if they had an issue w/ me they'd prob tell me

it's wild how occasionally i come across a vid or vod i never seen yet from someone i like watching only to be hit 3hrs in with the most relatable story of imposter syndrome and dealing w/ being compared to others and/or having a bad interaction w/ someone that you might've looked up to at one point
