The glitter paint and the being late and hungover are absolutely, objectively true. But I never once attacked a bin. Its just become this funny thing now between a bunch of us. I was laughing about it with the peeps from @mindstaincomics.bsky.social yesterday.

There's the fable that I (allegedly) had an altercation with a bin after a particularly boozy mid-con party (Pre-Pandemic), then I was 1.5hr late for the Sunday, and still had a face covered in glitter paint and was HORRENDOUSLY HUNGOVER.

We're looking for a new director! Would you like to make a substantial impact on Scotland’s small press scenes and help uplift self-publishing creators? Small Press Scotland CIC is looking for a new director to join our existing team as a partner. You will assist with and oversee event organisation, community engagement, and development of resources and strategies to educate and assist creators working across many creative fields. This is a volunteer, unpaid role for the immediate future; all current directors are working on a volunteer or contractor basis dependent on project funding. If full funding is received for our 2027 programme and beyond, we expect to pay all directors a rate of £20/hour for approximately 200 hours a year. See the full details on our website! There's a particular level of schadenfreude to be had & enjoy in seeing corporations finally being directly affected by AI ripping off software, code and reverse engineering their products. I don't agree with it, because that would make me a massive hypocrite, BUT, it does bring a smile to my face.
