Gosh, how fun, even a view of a shiny leg as well! Absolutely spoiling us :P

4/4 RubberWorks will continue having the avatar performance gate and disabled VRC props, to give everyone as much in-game framerate as possible to attend, enjoy and be part of the show. As we're still new, we will keep our ears and mind open to your feedback and suggestions for our future events. ✨

3/4 Poor-or-better has been written as a recommendation in the world at spawn, DJ countdowns, VRCTL event page, Discord server and VRC group since the first event in February 2026. It is still up to the individual to prepare an avatar for groups that use or enforce restrictions for world instances.

2/4 I've heard some feedback about these decisions from those who visited, either in-game or after the event ended. The general consensus is these features benefitted most people with more framerates, at the cost of some not being able to wear outfitted avatars that they wanted, or have planned on.

1/4 This thread is for those who are curious about the avatar performance gate and disabled VRC props during RubberWorks: Tropical Storm. These topics are discussed and decided prior to the event, the posts below will go into some more detail. (TLDR: We will continue using these in-game features.)

It is nice seeing the event from another perspective, I wasn't able to have as many people's avatars shown, I wouldn't know how shiny or not the instance is.
