In 2025, Christine Drazan told the Capitol Chronicle that she supported Donald Trump’s decision to send troops to Oregon.
We cannot trust Drazan to defend Oregon against Trump!
Let's support the small businesses that make Portland special, not the mega corporations that funnel billions of dollars out of our community every year. Also f*ck Live Nation in particular.
You can learn more about the Fair Share Tax proposal in this webinar:
I'm fully supportive of the Fair Share Tax proposal introduced by Portland City Councilors this week; I encourage you to reach out to City Hall in support of the initiative to lower taxes on small businesses and raise taxes on large corporations. Submit testimony in the link below:
Thanks to @repdexteror.bsky.social and our community for showing up to talk about protecting our democracy, immigrant and trans neighbors, public lands, healthcare, services, roads, transit, and so much under attack from this administration. I am grateful to be in the fight with all of you.
Join Common Cause Oregon's Election Protection Team to defend our vote by mail process from the threats being made by the Trump administration. If you are interested, join the training on October 6th at 6:30 pm in SE Portland or sign up online. https://loom.ly/ScdFpdQ
Same!
I’m less than 100 Portland donors from reaching the final tier of Small Donor Elections, and we have to get there before October 13th to qualify! If you or a member of your household support us but haven’t donated yet, now is the time, even $5 goes a long way 💙
The most ordinary man imaginable came to my home state to tell me to ‘get out of America’ while he & Absent Ashley enjoyed the comfort of buildings my ancestors helped build. Imagine standing on the shoulders of the ppl who built this country & then telling their descendants they don’t belong here/2
If you live in D4, rank Jamey Evenstar high on your ballot. I've had the pleasure of working with Jamey for a decade and I need her in city hall. A Jamie for every district!
not the most important thing, but i did run into christine drazan at opening night for Pride and Prejudice at PCS. she averted her gaze immediately before i had a chance to talk to her and repudiate her whole deal, and then she scuttled into the theater to enjoy Portland’s cultural offerings.
Key point: Safety in AI is not some magical new thing. It‘s putting the same kinds of requirements on these companies that we put on other potentially dangerous industries. It’s the companies doing this, not the technology by itself
I had a good conversation with TriMet leadership and other local leaders from East Portland about what’s next for the agency. There’s no sugarcoating it: TriMet is in a tough spot right now.
Kudos to @multco.bsky.social health department for sponsoring the event, this is what climate justice looks like in action
The results are in: Oregonians desperately want our state to fix our roads, restore and expand public transportation, and invest in safer streets for all. #orpol
I had such a good time this Sunday partnering with Representatives @repthuytran.bsky.social and @repwillychotzen.bsky.social on the Mobile Town Hall event this Sunday! This event is always one of my favorite of the year.
Kudos to @tyleropeiu.bsky.social for questioning the decision by other union leaders to assist Big Tech in its campaign to override rather than address community concerns about data centers.
Housing Oregon has been a tireless champion for affordable housing across the state; I had a great time speaking at their annual conference along with State Rep Lamar Wise. Eager to partner with all of the members of Housing Oregon to advance a pro-homes agenda in the 2027 legislative session.
Brilliant @amyremeikis.bsky.social piece here - absolutely gut-wrenching that Nepal PM's speech got buried under the nonsense of AI doom-hype.
This is a gross, cruel and unwelcome way to reduce emissions. As @glenpeters.bsky.social reminds us constantly, it almost never persists in a structural way.
We should fight for fair climate action where those who most need the benefits of clean technologies get them fastest
