and then I got through to Fly Hell, refused to engage with their "fuck you here's 50 status effect causing enemies" design, ran around going "so it WAS a 50 guys room" and then found the door upstairs and greeted Friede with "why do you have a bunch of fly creatures in your basement"

i went through the snow slopes full of followers the first time very slow and careful, picking em off with my bow, then I came back after dying and said "alright now it's time to return to the method of running and screaming" then indeed ran through the entire place

say what you will about dark souls but it sure is the only game that's 1. made me make player character OCs that I genuinely care about and 2. made me talk at the screen all the damn time

man I opened up dark souls 3 again just to have something to play when my sister isn't home and we can't play fefw. so I went to Ariendel because I never did the dlc in DS3 and oh my god the desire to just start swinging at every single new npc for literally no reason is so strong
