Zaslav brought nothing to WB during his tenure aside from failure. How many lives has this man destroyed in service of this payout? Luigi Mangione was the briefest reminder to these ghouls that the social contract before unions and strikes was simply to take care of the problem at its source.

Comparing this to divorce in the 70s is exactly right. Women being free to cut out their asshole husbands was a good thing. And so is cutting shit parents out of your life. You want your kids to take care of you in your old age? Don't be an endless fucking asshole to them.

Why would the WotC union members ask anyone supporting them to stop playing the game they make? The WGA never asked people to stop watching TV and movies during our strike. And the WotC union isn't even on strike. Feel your feelings about megacorps but you should be supporting labor.

There weren't a lot of "good days" that came out of the strike for me. I certainly had some good times and memories from the line, but most days were grueling and crushing. @brennanleemulligan.bsky.social's hosting of the D&D Day at Universal was definitely one of the rare exceptions.

Brennan's the real deal. During the WGA strike he was marching with us, donating, and amplifying our message in any way he could. He also ran an incredible game for hundreds of people outside Universal which raised thousands for the ECF. Unsurprised, but always happy to see that solidarity continue.

Fellow WGA members, we should be standing with @uwotc-official.bsky.social the same way so many members of the TTRPG community/industry stood with us during the strike. They donated to our funds and marched with us. So proud of everyone up at WotC. This will reverberate through the entire industry.
