I suspect the "Neo-industry" crowd (Glitch, the Pilots-with-merch wave, celebrity-helmed stuff) is totally unaware of even the most viral Newgrounds-likes (Madness, Punch Punch, Bridge Kids etc...) There's also Phone-core -- all the cartoons going crazy on Insta and TikTok off doing its own shit

It's interesting to me seeing what people mean when they bring up indie cartoons, cuz there seem to be a shit ton of wildly varying types that do not intermingle.
