Working on an update for RTL styling guide and thought about using Linkedin in Arabic for a few days. The amount of confusing translations is insane, not to mention the years-standing RTL mistakes. Lots of work to do there.
haha! This is also so useful to debug CSS masks with multiple layers, too.
It helps a lot! thanks to you and the team. Side note: the motion blur effect in the thumbnail is spot on 👌; it explains exactly what's inside even before checking the link.
In case you missed it, I published a tool called Gradient Layers, which is simply a way to visualize multiple background images in CSS. Works well for mask-image, too.
Take a look: lab.ishadeed.com/tools/gradie...
The @webdevs.firefox.com team shared an app to rank the web platform features you want to be supported in Firefox 2027. I just did mine, and you should too!
Debugging multi-layer CSS gradients/masks in the DevTools is painful, so I built a tool to help me visualize each layer. It works for CSS art/drawings, too.

Love to see anchor position tooling in Chrome Canary! 🤩 Also, happy that my thinking about the initial tooling was correct :D (Look at the dashed pink outlines (mine) vs Devtools ones (blue-ish) from my article on the topic.
I agree that it's much easier to type and understand as a value. Reflecting CSS to a design app or a no-code tool is always a challenge, maybe I will share some thoughts on that 😊
Interesting! What was the motivation to think about `1fr` instead of 100% or a keyword like "Fill"?
I'm exploring Framer app for fun and this caught my attention. Using "1fr" for a non-grid layout to say that this card takes the full width of its container. Imagine if this person decided to learn CSS some day, they will use "width: 1fr". :D
I got a thank-you email from someone who read my recent article and it made my morning. Emails/messages like this are much needed in times like these. If you want to send a thank-you message to your favorite author, do it now. It's the time.
Thanks Lara 🙏

Thank you! I noted at the beginning of the article that the demos work in browsers that support scroll-driven animations and anchor positioning. Maybe I should move it to the very beginning to make it clearer.
Oh thanks for that! I'm still learning every day 😊
